January 30, 2006: In this third book about the Eagle People from Nantucket Stirling winds up the story, or does he? The only flaw, and it's a small one, is his use of Private Hook from Zulu. The description of a number of early civilizations and cultures is fascinating and showed a lot of research by someone. I hope he continues the book, even if Walker and his demon bride have been killed. Stirling needs to do at least one more book in this series. I certainly will want to read it. He is an equal to Turtledove in many ways.
